The equipment is mainly wood based which is softer to touch and does not react to temperature in the same way as metal. The playground is aimed at children 10 years and younger with all the equipment being safe and fun for them while their parents can supervise. There are grassed areas and benches within the playground space that is fenced so parents can watch their children or have picnics without dogs roaming into the park. The design  was selected by Members at one of our Annual General  Meetings.
